Senior Pastor - Alan Wilson

Alan Wilson has been at PBC since August 2007.  Originally from Lisburn, he was a language teacher in Bangor for 8 years before moving to Switzerland where for 17 years he pastored an International Church between Geneva and Lausanne.
He is married to Pauline and they have two daughters, Gemma and Claire-Lise.  Alan’s desire is to see PBC develop as a gospel-driven church where we understand that the gospel is a message that saves and also shapes. Alan enjoys running and has an irrational attachement to Everton Football Club.

Associate Pastor - David Morrell
David was brought up on a farm and worked as a builder and joiner in Tamlaght O’Crilly, never realising that God would use these skills in his future ministries. After preparation in Capernwray Bible School and All Nations Christian College he went to serve God in Brazil with his wife Hilary where their three daughters where born. During their ten years there they were involved in church planting and street children’s ministry. In May 1997 they came back to nurse David’s father and represented Latin Link in Ireland until David’s appointment in Sept 2004 here at Portstewart Baptist. His passion, outside of Jesus and his family, is rugby - but he loves sport in general.
